Aasam :
Assam is famous for its wildlife, archeological sites and tea plantations. Arunachal Pradesh
An Indian rifleman soldier Mr. Jaswant Singh Rawat of 4 Garhwal Rifles, Uttarakhand who won the Maha Vir Chakra posthumously at the Battle of Nuranang during the 1962 India-China war.. The exemplary bravery shown by Jaswant Rawat was honored by building a memorial at the post where he fought the Chinese army. The post which he held against the Chinese Army was named as Jaswant Garh[1]. Another honor bestowed upon him is that he continues in the service even after death, he has been awarded promotions as if he is still serving the Nation. Local people around Tawang area believe that he has become a saint and his spirit protects the area. The Indian army keeps at least half-a-dozen personnel here to take care of Rawat as if he is alive. Another attraction at Arunachal are Madhuri Lake very close to the China Border and there is a pass to go to Bhutan from Tawang. Also a famous monastery at Bomdilla.

Nagaland
Nagas are meant for culture – dancers – warriors – head hunters. Kohima is the capital where you can see War Cemetry of second world war. Also there are Japfu Peak, Dzukou Valley which is famous for panoramic view of surrounding landscape. It is believed that more than 360 varieties of Orchids grow on the hillsides with number of wild flowers, herbs and plants during monsoon. A hornbill festival arranged every year at Kisama, near kohima between 1st and 10th December. To see this festival, 80% foreigners visit this festival.

Manipur

Mizoram
Mizo is civilized state in North East. It is said that any fashion in India starts from Mizo. Aizawal is the state capital which is on the hills surrounded by thick forest. . Tripura
Agartala is the capital with warm atmosphere. A beautiful city close to the Bangla border. In Tripura, there are different beautify places like, Jagganath temple, Neer Mahal Palace, Tripura Sundari Temple, Ujjayanta Palace.
