Jungle Safaries

Now a days, tigers come in residential areas, as we have started living in jungle resorts and as tigers come in residential areas, they cannot move around due to fear of human being in their mind. To see these tigers in their way of stay, a jungle safari is essential, where tigers wonder without fear in jungle and we can visit these jungles in canter (open top bus) or gipsy. In India, there are 13 best tiger reserve forests, which are listed below:

Besides tigers, there are Serow, Goral, Himalayan Tahr among other fascinating wild species.

Mid-November to June end with tigers best spotted from March to May.

Bandhavgarh National Park, Madhya Pradesh

Royal Bengal Tigers

October to June and tigers are sighted sound March to May.

Sasan-Gir Wildlife Sanctuary, Gujarat

Asiatic lions. Past from the lions and leopards, the Jackals, striped Hyenas, and India Fox 

December to April; the park closes mid-June through monsoon season in mid-September.

Kaziranga National Park, Assam

One Horned Rhinoceros. Apart from the rhinos, elephants, bears, panthers and various pretty birds traverse the landscape of the park.

November to April is the ideal time to visit.

Kanha National Park, Madhya Pradesh

The Black Panther, Bears, Pythons, Elephants and even the Bengal Tiger

October to mid-June with March to May being ideal to spot the tigers and panthers.

Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, Kerela

Tigers to see apart from birdwatchers who enjoy the park for its tropical species. One can also boat around the park to see the animals up real close like the elephants.

Open throughout the year, September to December is the best time

Manas Wildlife Sanctuary, Assam

tiger, pygmy hog, Indian rhinoceros and Indian elephant.

October to April with January to March being peak wildlife spotting time.

Sunderbans National Park, West Bengal

Apart from the Royal Bengal Tiger; Fishing Cats, Leopard Cats, Macaques, Wild Boar, Indian Grey Mongoose are also found in abundance here.
